Hello Everyone,
All is going well so far. All of the "Chicago 12" arrived safe and sound with all luggage checked though to Amman. We are now waiting for about 5 hours in Heathrow airport in London. Some of the group needs to get their boarding passes from Royal Jordanian airlines when they open in about a 30 minutes. The airport is crowded and we found seats in the shopping area. To my left is a Harrods, and other shops are all around.
Everything is quite expensive here although not quite as expensive as last summer when I visited England. I found a pay as go computer with access to the internet. 1 pound for 10 minutes so I can not afford to stay on long but I thought you might appreciate a quick update. It is 1pm here in London and 2pm in Amman. We do not arrive in Amman until midnight tonight.
